chickenlink.org/theguardianChickenLink puts your link on an endless meadow. Your page is a chicken that walks next to thousands of others, with a name, a photo, a short bio and your links. Use it in two ways:
Put chickenlink.org/yourname in your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube bio. Whoever taps it lands right in front of your chicken and finds all your links: your profiles, your shop, your music, your videos.
One link is enough: your website, shop, app or event. People exploring the meadow find your chicken and visit your site, its eggs carry it to new visitors, and you get a short address for flyers, cards and posts.
| Breed | Price per year | Links | Stats | Gift eggs | Look |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Neon | $3 | 3 | — | 1 | Pick your fluo color. The chicken for everyone. |
| Rainbow | $5 | 5 | — | 2 | Shifts through every color, nonstop. |
| Cosmic | $10 | 8 | Visits and clicks | 3 | Full of stars, leaves a glowing trail. |
| Hypnotic | $25 | 12 | Visits and clicks | 5 | Spiral eyes and ripples across the meadow. |
| Legendary | $50 | 20 | Visits and clicks | 10 | Golden, crowned, glowing. Sings to the whole meadow. |
| Phoenix | $100 | 30 | Visits and clicks | 20 | Born from fire, with wings of flame. Leaves a trail of embers. |
| Vortex | $500 | 50 | Visits and clicks | 30 | Spins a hypnotic trail of spirals wherever it walks. |
Prices are for one year on the meadow. You get your gift eggs again every time you renew. Every chicken goes for walks around its spot on the meadow, and the bigger the breed, the wider it roams, so more visitors meet it.
Chickens lay eggs on the meadow, and rarer breeds lay more often. Each egg shows the profile of the chicken that laid it, so eggs bring visitors to their owners. Find one, sign in to collect it and send the link to three friends: each friend who opens it makes a crack. On the third crack a chick hatches with your name. A chick is a free profile; upgrade it to a chicken to add links. Chicken owners also get gift eggs to send to friends, who get a chick straight away.
Signed-in users can shorten any web address to chickenlink.org/s/… from their coop and see how many people clicked it.
Yes. Many chickens have a single link: a website, an online shop, an app, an event or a newsletter. Give your chicken a name, a photo and a bio that say what you offer: people exploring the meadow open it and visit your site, and its eggs carry it to new visitors. From the Cosmic breed up you also see how many people visited and clicked. The usual rules apply: no spam, scams or anything against the Content Policy.
Yes. In My coop you can add one photo to each chicken: your face, your logo or what you sell. It appears on the chicken's card, above your links. Photos follow the Content Policy too.
Yes. Your first chicken (any breed except the Vortex) is free for 30 days, and we do not ask for your card. Before the free month ends you can keep it for a whole year at its normal price with one click in My coop. If you do nothing, it falls asleep and we keep its address for you for 14 days. One free month per account.
Yes. Choose As a gift when you get a chicken, or Gift a chicken in the menu. You pick the breed, write their name and a message, and pay one year. You get a gift link to send by message or email. They open it, sign in, choose their address and name, and their year starts the day they claim it. They never see the price.
No automatic charges. You pay for one year. A month before the end we email you, and you renew with one click from My coop if you want to keep your chicken.
Your chicken falls asleep: it leaves the meadow and its page stops showing your links. We keep your address for you for 90 days; renew in that time and it wakes up exactly as it was. After that the address becomes free for someone else.
Yes, any time, from your coop. Your address stays the same.
With your Google or Facebook account, or with your email address: we email you a 6-digit code to type in. The same email address always opens the same account, whichever way you use. There is no password to remember, and we never post anything for you.
Your chicken is delivered immediately, so the 14-day withdrawal right ends once it is live (you agree to this at checkout). If something went wrong, contact us and we will look at it. See the refund policy.
Scams, malware, adult content, hate, harassment, impersonation and anything illegal. Reported chickens and links are reviewed and removed. See the Content Policy.
Your chicken carries your link on the meadow. Use chickenlink.org/yourname as your link in bio on Instagram or TikTok, or add just one link to promote your website, shop or event.
Give someone their own chicken on the meadow for a year. You pay now and get a gift link to send them. They pick their address, name and links, their year starts the day they claim it, and they never see the price.
A gift for you
One year on the meadow, already paid, with no price shown. You get the link right after paying, on screen and by email, and you find it again in My coop.
This is what visitors see when they open your chicken. Once it is on the meadow you can add a photo in My coop. Links are checked against our Content Policy.
Next you sign in with Google, Facebook or your email to save your chicken. What you filled in stays here.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay accepted. Paid for one year; nothing renews automatically.
Sign in to get a chicken, collect eggs and make short links.
From Google or Facebook we only receive your name, email address and profile picture. We never post anything for you. See the Privacy Policy.
