Content Policy

ChickenLink is for fun and for sharing. Our chickens refuse to carry some things. This policy applies to every short link, link name and chicken message, whether free or paid.

Never allowed

• Phishing: pages that imitate a bank, a shop, a social network or anyone else to steal passwords, codes or card details.
• Malware: viruses, spyware, fake downloads, or pages that try to install anything without clear permission.
• Scams and fraud: fake giveaways, "you won an iPhone", investment or crypto schemes that promise easy money, fake shops.
• Child sexual abuse material or anything that sexualises minors. We report it to the authorities.
• Illegal content: anything illegal in Romania or the European Union, including pirated content, illegal drugs or weapons sales.
• Hate and violence: content that attacks people because of who they are, threatens violence or supports terrorism.
• Harassment: links or messages meant to bully, threaten or shame a real person, or that publish someone's private information.
• Hiding where a link goes to trick people, for example chaining other link shorteners, IP loggers or tracking tricks.
• Spam: links sent in bulk to people who didn't ask for them.
• Impersonation: link names or messages that pretend to be a brand, a public institution, a real person or ChickenLink.

Allowed as a link, but not on the leaderboard

The leaderboard is a public page, so we are stricter there. We may refuse to list:

• adult or sexually explicit content (such links can only point to sites that verify age);
• gambling, betting and alcohol promotions;
• shocking, gory or disturbing content;
• aggressive advertising, affiliate farms or pages full of pop-ups;
• political campaign content;
• link names or messages that are rude about a real person.

Chicken messages

Pranks and jokes are welcome. Messages must not threaten, insult or embarrass a real person in a hurtful way, and must not include someone's private data (phone number, address, documents).

How we enforce it

• Admins review every leaderboard listing before it goes public.
• Anyone can report a link using "Report this link" on the delivery page.
• We can disable a link at any time. A disabled link stops redirecting and shows a notice instead.
• For serious or repeated violations we suspend the account and disable all its links.
• Links disabled for breaking this policy are not refunded.
• We cooperate with the authorities when the law requires it.

Report a problem

Open the short link and use "Report this link" at the bottom of the page, or write to x@chickenlink.org. For urgent cases involving a risk to someone's safety, contact the police first.
